PHYSICS OBSERVATORY HOLIDAY PROGRAM

To coincide with the official launch of the Physics Observatory digital project, The Cube hosted a series of hands-on holiday activities for children and young families to engage with everyday physics in unexpected ways. Activities included: a series of magnetic ball runs, a paper plane folding room, scientific shorts by Little Big Shots and MinutePhysics, gravity defying hula hooping with Vulcana Women's Circus, hands-on Physics 101 demo's by the QUT Physics Society, Virtual Rocket Launching with the QUT STEM Team, explosive Street Science sessions, and a Physics Wiz Treasure Hunt.
