BRISBANEDIALOGUES

brisbanedialogues (2009 - 2011) was an online journal founded by Jacina to evaluate and engage in critical conversations about contemporary art initiatives, practices, exhibitions and projects taking place across Brisbane. It focused on surveying the production and presentation of challenging / innovative / experimental art, and raising questions that related to the issues confronting artists making this kind of work. It aimed to establish a forum for these discussions to take place, to explore the range of creative practices that were operating across the Brisbane area at the time, and to raise critical dialogue about the art and artists that contribute to the creative and cultural life of the city.
